  • Education Director

    We are seeking a versatile and motivated Education Program Director to lead our educational initiatives at The Science Zone. This role will encompass elements of program coordination, staff support, business development, and grant coordination for our education programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, possess strong leadership skills, and have experience in program management, community outreach, and grant administration.

If you're interested in spending a little of your time with us at the Science Zone, please see the volunteer application form form more information. We have opportunities in every area of the Science Zone from housekeeping to program support to exhibit construction. Your help is greatly appreciated!

    You can return a completed volunteer application form to Keri.Owen@thesciencezone.org. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, and all volunteers 18+ may be subject to a background check.

    AmeriCorps is a federal agency that brings individuals and communities together through service and volunteering to tackle the nation’s most pressing challenges. AmeriCorps provides opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to give their time and talent to strengthen communities across our country. Being part of the AmeriCorps team at The Science Zone will bring the satisfaction of supporting an organization built on providing a service to our community and will provide many lifelong benefits.

    The Science Zone in Casper is currently recruiting AmeriCorps members to serve in our education program. AmeriCorps members will help provide educational programming in classrooms, in before and after school programs, community outreach activities and summer camps. Members will have flexible scheduling options and will be provided with training, a monthly living stipend, and an education award upon completion. Housing assistance is available.
