What does a scientist really look like?

The Science Zone was awarded a mini-grant by the ASTC (Association of Science and Technology Centers) to showcase women and minorities in STEM and their accomplishments! Our new IF/THEN exhibit seeks to break down barriers to women in STEM.  

Our exhibit highlights the Science Zone’s commitment to gender equity through larger-than-life portraits, biographies, and videos of these women in action in different STEM fields.   Once you’ve explored the diversity of STEM careers and the women in them, it will be time to interact with our STEM Career Discovery Quest to find out what STEM career matches your personal interests!

We are also pleased to announce that we have been awarded a second mini-grant that will allow us to focus on female STEM champions right here in Wyoming.  Keep posted for our new crop of powerful and inspirational women of Wyoming STEM.
