The Science Zone is thrilled to announce a free Family STEAM Night on Thursday, May 8 from 4–6 p.m., presented in partnership with Radiant. Families are invited to an exciting evening of hands-on science and discovery at 222 E. Collins Dr., Casper, WY—complete with engaging activities, learning opportunities, and free food for all guests.
This special STEAM Night is all about exploring nuclear energy—what it is, how it works, and what it could mean for the future of Wyoming. Through fun, interactive experiences, guests will:
In addition, attendees will have a unique opportunity to learn about Radiant’s proposed reactor manufacturing facility just north of Casper. Representatives from Radiant will be on hand to answer questions, explain the science behind their innovative technology, and talk about how it could impact our community.

Drop in anytime between 4:00 - 6:00 to join The Science Zone for Free Family STEAM nights every Thursday! We provide STEAM enrichment activities that encourage family participation. There will be fun hands-on activities for families of all ages!
There's something for everyone! This is a drop in activity. There is no need to pre-register, and we invite you to stay for a little or as long as you would like.
Family STEAM activities are free. (Occasionally we'll have small supply fees - these dates will be announced beforehand). Admission to Museum Exhibits is $5. Free Family STEAM nights are one of the ways that AmeriCorps members are making a difference in our community. Funding for this work is provided by America’s Service Commissions’ grant from the Mott Foundation, and provided by ServeWyoming.
